Budder Khan is an inmate in Keen Mountain Correctional Center. He was recently moved here due to construction in his prior prison. Ever since Budder has been moved here he’s been harassed for his race and is constantly being charged for the most obscure reasons, such as speaking Punjabi over the phone. Yet at his prior prison he never had issues. In fact due to his good behavior they removed years off his sentence. Budder is a practicing Muslim, they did not let him fast during the holy month or Ramadan or let him pray his Eid prayer. Budder was not the only one. No Muslim in Keen Mountain was allowed to pray Eid prayer. This goes against their religious rights. He’s been put in solitary confinement for days and is constantly nagged on for being Muslim. His family worries for his safety everyday. Please help make a difference. Our goal is to have him pardoned of the charges this prison has falsely accused Budder of, also to have him moved to another prison where he can peacefully do his time.
