This shocking act of cruelty toward an already vulnerable animal—now affectionately known as Willow or BooBoo—demonstrates a profound disregard for the lives of animals.

On Monday night, surveillance footage captured the whole thing on video, where he carelessly and inhumanely throws the injured cat straight into the dumpster. Thankfully, the cat was discovered just moments before the dumpster was to be emptied.

Now under the care of Mission Viejo Animal Services and receiving veterinary treatment, BooBoo’s situation highlights both the severe neglect inflicted upon her and her remarkable resilience in the face of such cruelty.

We demand that the authorities and judicial bodies take immediate and decisive action by thoroughly investigating this despicable act and prosecuting the perpetrator to the fullest extent of the law.
