JUSTICE FOR BABY ALEX:

A MOTHER ASSAULTED WHILE PREGNANT - A BABY LOST.

WE ARE STILL FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE.

I was pregnant when an intrusion onto our property ended in violence. I was assaulted. I was injured. And I lost my unborn baby, Alex.

More than two years later, we are still fighting for answers, accountability and justice.

On 30 July 2024, unknown intruders entered our property without consent. I was pregnant, frightened and alone.

I called for help.

What followed changed our family forever.

I came face to face with them, unprepared. Confrontation ensued. I was physically assaulted, suffering serious physical and psychological trauma. In the events, I lost my much-wanted unborn child.

His name was Alex.

We expected to watch him grow up.

Instead, we grieve him.

And more than two years later, despite our repeated efforts to have what happened properly investigated, we are still fighting for accountability.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR:

We call upon the NSW Government and appropriate independent authorities to:

1. Ensure the circumstances surrounding the intrusion, assault and death of Baby Alex are fully, properly and independently investigated.

2. Independently examine the police response and subsequent handling of our reports, evidence and complaints.

3. Review whether NSW law adequately protects people confronted by unlawful intruders in their homes and on their property, particularly vulnerable people who cannot physically overpower an intruder.

4. Review whether NSW law adequately recognises the loss of a wanted unborn child resulting from an alleged intentional act of violence against the pregnant mother.

This is bigger than our family.

A pregnant woman should be able to call for help and expect to be protected.

A person should be able to feel safe inside their own home.

Evidence relating to an alleged serious crime should be properly recorded and investigated.

And parents who lose a wanted baby following alleged violence deserve answers.

Please sign for Baby Alex.

Not because a signature can bring our child back.

It cannot.

Sign because what happened to our family deserves proper scrutiny—and because no other family should have to fight this hard simply to have their allegations properly investigated.

Please sign. Please share. Please help us make Baby Alex impossible to ignore.
