Justice for Asiza and Her Mate: Stop Killing Endangered Wolves

Justice for Asiza and Her Mate: Stop Killing Endangered Wolves
The Issue
Asiza was a rare and special Mexican gray wolf. She wore a tracking collar so the government could watch over her and help protect her. She was also likely pregnant, helping bring more endangered wolves into the wild. But in April, federal officials shot and killed her and her mate near the Arizona-New Mexico border.
This should never have happened.
The government is supposed to protect endangered animals like Mexican gray wolves. Instead, they took two important wolves from a species that is already struggling to survive. We don't know all the details yet, but we do know this: two collared, protected wolves were killed, and it appears that one of them was about to give birth.
We are asking for answers. We are asking for change.
We’re calling on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to explain why this happened, hold the people responsible, and make real changes so no other protected wolves are killed this way again.
Please sign this petition to stand up for endangered wolves like Asiza and her mate before it's too late.
