On December 10, 2022 Angel Marie Joplin was declared BRAIN DEAD from a blow to the back of the head, supposedly she hit the floor. The monster who did this has not been arrested or charged. Her death was declared a homicide by the ME. The monster told detectives he came home on the night of Dec 4 and they got into an argument. (Previously that day she had sent him text messages telling him she was “done with him”) She supposedly attacked him first and he SLUNG her off of him and she hit the floor of a newly built house with carpeted flooring. Causing a skull fracture, a brain bleed, and lack of oxygen to the brain. Angels swelling was so bad they had to cut a portion of her skull out and drill burrow holes in her skull to allow her brain to swell. She was postering when she came into the hospital and her eyes were fixed and dilated. Doctors said she was shaken so violently it caused a mid line shift of her brain. Angels  7 year old daughter Kinsley was at home asleep in bed at the time and didn’t hear or wake up to this argument they supposedly had. He placed THREE phone calls BEFORE calling EMS. The first two people didn’t answer, he called another friend that answered and while on that phone call the first friend called him back. That’s a total of four before EMS was called. We have ring footage of him coming home at 11:47 pm on December 4, 2022 and on the phone with the friend on December 5, 2022 at 12:14 am asking what he should do and ring footage of him calling EMS at 12:16 am. So between December 4, 2022 at 11:47 pm and December 5, 2022 12:14 am Angel was assaulted. He states Angel was drunk (Angel was on the phone with her mom Wendy at either 7:44 or 7:55 and talked until 8:08 and wasn’t intoxicated) and jumped on him from the front of him in between the bed and dresser, that was only a 24 inch space. Angel also had rheumatoid disease and I don’t see how she could have physically done that. Even if alcohol was in her system it doesn’t give him the right to take her life, she was over the age of 21 in her own home an is allowed to legally have an adult beverage. It’s been stated by his friends, she was heavily intoxicated, to me if she was that heavily intoxicated she would have had alcohol poisoning. Friends of his have stated on social media she antagonized him by sending a text, “leave like you always do” “I’m done”  His friends have harassed my family on social media from the beginning. All the while victim blaming and turning this all on Angel. Also he had no marks on him anywhere nor scratches to support his claim of her attacking him. She also had none of his DNA under her nails.  Detectives don’t believe his story of events but don’t have enough evidence to charge him at this time. His lie detector test came back inconclusive per detectives as well. On December 11, 2022 after doctors gave no hope, her family decided to give the gift of life amongst their tragedy and they donated Angels organs to save others. This monster has a history of violence on his record and has previously been arrested for hitting a man in the back of the head while he was using the urinal at a restaurant. Hes also been arrested for threatening to shoot into a truck with a child inside and allegedly slashing his ex girlfriends tires. We need help getting Angel and her family Justice and we need domestic violence laws changed. 

  As a family we are 1. Wanting the laws changed to where no matter if the victim wants to press charges or not charges, charges be carried out by the district attorney if there is proof of domestic abuse. Proof in the form of verbal, text, voicemail and video messages should count as proof. 2. Victims automatically get an order of protection for 5 years. 3. It automatically be a 3-5 year sentence for domestic abuse with no time off for good behavior. 4. No termination of early probation. 5. Former assaults can be used in the court of law for prosecution even if charges were dropped or abandoned. 6. The assailants must register nation wide on an abuse registry.(just like we do with sexual predators) 7. If any friends or family of the assailant or the assailant themselves harass the victim, victims family or victims friends,  they be charged as accomplices or accessory after the fact and automatically serve a 15 month prison sentence. 8. If any one witnesses abuse regardless if the victim wants to press charges, the witness can press charges as long as they have proof of events. 9. If a child is present during a domestic violence situation the assailant is automatically charged with child endangerment. 10. We are also seeking Justice For Angel Joplin. That her assailant be charged for her death and serve a life sentence. 11. That police have a reenactment done, not him just telling what happened an actual reenactment of the scene. If he’s not willing to participate then someone of Angels size an statue and his size and statue participate in the reenactment based off of his statements to detectives. Not just a “walk through” of what happened. 11. Cases resulting in death not be closed until an outside agency looks at all reports and agree with the original agency. If no agreement is reached, a third agency is to be involved. If an agreement can not be reached the original agency must provide an attorney of the victims family choosing to represent them them in a wrongful death suit. 
   
  Bringing justice for Angel means justice for her little girl, as well as the rest of her family and all of those who love her. We can not let him (or others) continue to get away with harming others and walking away with no consequences to their actions. Just because it’s someone’s word, against someone else’s or a deceased person who can no longer speak for themselves and tell their side of the story. Please help me not only change the laws for all domestic violence victims but bring justice for Angel and those impacted by her death as well.
