"In 2001, April 21st, I was arrested and charged with stabbing a Caucasian man. They told me he was fighting for his life. I was trialed and convicted within 6-months of this charge. After being sentenced to 16-years and sent to WallaWalla State prison, 13-months later, I was told that I had won my Appeal. I was taken back to King County city jail. While there, a Mr. Byron Ward (Public Defender) had me brought to an interview room and (in a nutshell) here is what he told me:
" …I have good news and bad news….the good news is, we ‘accidentally’ convicted you of a crime you didn’t commit…. the bad news is you have to take a 15-month plea-bargain, because the State is afraid you’re going to sue them so they want you to take this charge and you’ll be out in two months…if you refuse, you’ll spend 11-years in prison, this is the only offer D.A., Hobbs(this is Assistant D.A. Steven Hobbs) is going to give you, you will be found guilty again and sent back to do 11-years…" when asked why he wouldn’t turn in this evidence (he also brought in a manila folder of the victim’s medical record and as I read it, he explained what happened that I was falsely blamed) to free me, he said; "I work for the State".
I was released from prison 1-1/2 years ago; I took a polygraph test (given by a police officer) and passed, about all that I’m telling you. Also the Judge new this was a false case and the juries were rigged with judicial employees. Wait until you hear the whole twisted, sordid story. Also, this comes at a time when Washington State calls-out Italy for their mishandling the Amanda Knox case, when they actually fabricated a case against an African-American and had the entire court to assist them. I need your help to bring this to the fore front, to right this grievous wrong, this judicial lynching of which I was a victim. No lawyer will take it as a result of fear of the legal system in Seattle, as it is known as the most notorious, in the entire nation for blatantly gross judicial misconduct. My daughter doesn’t know me and my life is ruined. Please help me. How can I send the Polygraph results?
My mom always said “Where there is one roach there is a thousand” This can also be said of victims in the legal system. I know of three others. Where is that Perry Mason, Matlock, that Nun who had faith in the truth of that African-American who is a victim of a racist judicial system? Where is the John Grisham like lawyers in this age? Who is the Hero/Heroine that vindicates me? Where are those who keep the justice of this alleged Christian guided system, Where is Jesus?”
