We, the undersigned, are calling for the truth to come to light and justice to be served in the case involving Adan Sahid Sanchez, a young man who now faces serious legal consequences after an altercation that we believe was an act of self-defense.

What Happened:

On or around June 29, 2025, Adan Sanchez was involved in a violent encounter with Aileen Cano Padilla, which resulted in Aileen being injured. Adan allegedly acted in self-defense after Aileen reportedly attacked him. The injury occurred near her armpit area, and according to statements and surrounding evidence, Adan was forced to react in a moment of fear and adrenaline.

The Context:

Aileen Cano Padilla has a documented history of mental and physical abuse toward past partners. It is alleged that she became violent during the incident, despite the presence of her two children in the vehicle, raising further concern about her judgment and stability. Her four other children are reportedly being cared for by her mother, while she continues to involve herself in volatile situations.

Adan Sanchez, a 19-year-old former player associated with the Chicago Cubs organization, does not have a history of violence or abuse. Those close to him believe he was caught off guard, overwhelmed, and acting purely out of self-preservation during the incident.
