We’re happy to share that the Michigan Humane Society recently shared a short update on Baron, letting everyone know that he’s doing great with the family that adopted him. The update doesn’t say much but there is a great photo of him with his family: http://bit.ly/2rahb3Y Unfortunately, the person who did this to him has still not been caught but the Michigan Humane Society has increased their reward to $62,000. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC We follow the work of a lot of great rescue organizations but one that stands out for doing incredible work is Rescue Dogs Rock NYC. They are consistently saving the dogs who most urgently need care and have some of the toughest and most heartbreaking cases we’ve ever seen. Some of their recent work includes saving a dog whose owners left her alone for days and was hit by a car, causing significant damage to her eye. Yesterday they saved a dog who had been dragged by a car and shot. Many cases involve dogs that are suffering from severe abuse with cases of malnutrition and mange.
