This is not a protest of choice.
This is a protest of helplessness.

No family wants to leave their daily struggle for survival and stand on the road demanding what is rightfully theirs. But when the system stops responding, the road becomes the only place left to be heard.

Ask yourself:

• Why were 440 families forced to come on the streets after 6 years of waiting?
• Why has no authority acted despite valid permissions (IOD 2017, CC 2020)?
• Why is a termination notice by 12 societies being ignored?
• Why are senior citizens, who gave their lifetime savings, left to suffer like this?
• Why is MHADA silent despite being a signatory and custodian of public trust?
• Why are commitments made under “Housing for All” not being upheld in reality?

Both the State and Central governments are led by the same leadership. Then why is there no accountability? Why are 440 voices still unheard?

We are not asking for favors.
We are asking for enforcement of law, accountability, and dignity.

Coming onto the streets is not our preference — it is the last step when every system meant to protect citizens fails.
