And it means recognizing when taking in another animal would place the animals already in one’s care at risk.
Good intentions cannot replace the ability to provide appropriate care.
When someone accepts responsibility for vulnerable animals, that responsibility must be taken seriously.

This petition is not a request for harassment, threats, or vigilantism.
