Battling Extreme Heat and Police Harassments.
My repeated requests to the UNHCR for my immediate accommodation have not yet been fulfilled.
Severe weather conditions such as extreme cold and excessive summer heat present substantial risks to my physical well-being and overall welfare. Moreover, the addition of police harassment and unjustified detentions intensifies the gravity of the situation.
Read my detailed article on these matters here to find out more:
Takeaways:
- I have continually been compelled to endure scorching temperatures as high as 41 degrees Celsius in the dust outside my shelter until midnight while my pursuit of Justice and Freedom persists.
- The water I obtain from the water tap across the street rapidly becomes excessively warm and unfit for consumption. I have no funds to acquire cold water.
- If the tree next to my shelter undergoes another pruning, similar to what happened in 2020, the situation will be further exacerbated.
- All the traffic noise aside, now profuse sweating resulting from excessive heat and incessant itching due to the lack of bathing, makes it impossible for me to rest at nights and get some sleep.
It is imperative that all the parties petitioned to promptly find a resolution to this ongoing Hostage-taking in Greece.
