Last Friday, on my way back to my shelter at the doorsteps of the UNHCR office from the district Police Station where I had been detained again for about 5-hours and also been assaulted by the Police on several occasions, I saw two young employees of MSF, Greece on the street who were in their own words were Fundraising for the organization.

So I thought I should ask for their support in raising funds for my survival through my Fundraising Campaign. But not only did they offer no help, they even didn’t care enough to listen to what I had to say.

Anxiously arriving back at the doorsteps of the UNHCR office, it was such a relief to find my shelter still being there and not vanished by the Police. Because while still in detention, the Police after a lot of beating also threatened to put me in prison and vanish my shelter as well. They have vanished my shelter 5 times before with all my belongings in it.

Having found my shelter intact, I wasted no time so I could go to the MSF’s office as well to request urgent help before the working hours was over. Their headquarters is approximately about 100 meters away from the UNHCR’s office.

At the door, I politely informed them about the events of the day and reiterated my request for help, especially in terms of assistance for my survival. But they were only seemed to be concerned about being captured on the Camera, rather than my dire situation, my health and well-being.

So they closed the door on me supposedly to have some discussions about my request inside, but I couldn't hear anything and they also never returned back to me afterwards to inform me about the outcome of their discussion.

One of the women who were discussing the matter with the others behind the closed door earlier, told me “We are waiting for the director. We informed her. " as I stopped her outside the door while she was leaving the office to go home along with two other employees of the organization.

But every other female employee who left the building afterwards, claimed they were not the Director.

One of the latest two employees who left the building, a guy, told me that the director was not there and also that there was no one else left in the office.

So overall I was once again subjugated to their mockery and humiliation right at the door of their headquarters for hours while in urgent need of help but has never been offered any even in the slightest.

This is just one of the aspects of what these people do in this country. They have absolutely no regard or whatsoever for Refugees, especially for those who go and request help from their organization.

Moreover, same as the majority of all other so-called Humanitarian organizations in this country, MSF has also never responded to any of my requests for help sent to them via email since the start of my protest outside the UNHCR office on March 21st, 2017.
