Following last week’s Court summons for testifying in a case which hasn’t been specified back then and is not yet clear to me, today after spending hours in the Athens Criminal Court I was eventually being sent away only to be recalled again in about two weeks after.
An employee of the Court, who had at some point in a very angry tone rudely claimed I didn’t exist, was asked by the Court to help with today’s unofficial interpretation.
Although appointing an English Interpreter for the next session was agreed upon by the Court, but they effectively denied me any legal aid. “You should go to the Evelpidon Court.” they said.
That’s where I had previously been assaulted by the Police specifically over my repeated requests for legal aid. But they didn’t care.
Getting a written confirmation for my today’s presence in their Court was also extremely difficult.
