The Finish Photographer, Jyri Pitkänen, who has been helping me with the Photos and Videos while my 3rd Hunger Strike Outside the UNHCR office in Athens, Greece still continues, said on Tuesday that he would have a very busy week and could only spare some time to visit me on Saturday, January 12th, 2022.
Two weeks earlier PayPal restricted my account from conducting any transactions even when I have not hit any of their limitations. They obligated me to provide a valid form of identification, Proof of Address and a Bank Account, all of which, under my current circumstances I am unable to resolve on my own.
Hence, I wrote again to both the UNHCR office and the Amnesty International and requested help. But, given their past history and considering the collective plot against me in this country, the chances of receiving help, if any at all, from either of these organizations are pretty slim.
Since the break of my 2nd Hunger Strike on September 2020, I have been surviving on other people’s little Donations from abroad sent to me via PayPal. But having these restrictions placed on my account with some money as well already locked away, not only I am now in a far greater risk of survival, but also it was more essential than ever before to plead for help through my Crowdfunding Campaign which has been live now for well over a month.
However, thus far I have not seen/received much solidarity and support even when I have been sharing my campaign almost regularly and have also formally written to almost one Hundred International Philanthropic Organizations world wide specifically concerned with Human Rights, Refugees and Immigration. But thus far none has responded positively. They either not responsive at all and even if they respond, only making excuses.
This is why as an extra effort, even when I know it could be fruitless, I thought of printing and distributing leaflets to the heartless Greek Society. But since I didn’t have the money for the print, I asked one of my supporters who had previously volunteered to cover the expenses for my Banner which was damaged earlier by a Fascist Greek woman in December.
The lady who said, she and her sister will take care of the banner, later declined to do so and cited their own economic hardship, however, at the end was considerate enough to at least help me out with the leaflets. She printed 200 pieces (A4, Color) and brought it to me at my shelter outside the UNHCR office on Monday afternoon, February 07th, 2022.
Although I tried distributing the leaflets on Friday, but I could only get one piece passed on in one hour. But thanks to the presence of the Camera I had a quiet different experience on Saturday even when there was so little traffic compared to other days. Because I managed to pass on something around 25 pieces for the same amount of time compared to the day earlier.
During the weekend I also wrote to dozens of Luxury Hotels across the country and pleaded for contribution to my campaign. But same as the above, those efforts as well have not yet yielded any results and I am afraid I would remain even without drinking water by the end to the week.
Because, currently I have no cash on me and the only reason I could possibly make it to the end of the week is because of the two coupons, 10 Euros Each, from the Σκλαβενιτης chain supermarket, which were brought to me on Sunday Midnight, by Mr. Younes Mohamaddi while I was tremendously exhausted and asleep. Mr. Mohamaddi works with the Greek Forum for Refugees. The forum has not responded positively to my pleadings for support for my online Petition.
As my 3rd Hunger Strike has passed over 5 months, I am now feeling constant pain in all my bones every day. It is no question that their collective cover up efforts still continues and even though my death by starvation could Strike at any given moment, but even in that event they would simply lie about it, blame it on Coronavirus or something else and would behave in a way as if I have never been here outside the UNHCR office for so many years demanding an end to my Prolonged Imprisonment and complete deprivation in Greece.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere and no one should be put through a situation like this.
I fear for my life, my safety and well-being.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and take action now
