Today, as I have been enduring Day 101st of my 3rd #HungerStrike outside the #UNHCR office in Athens, Greece; in the afternoon I had once again experienced #racist and #fascism behaviors at my protest site.

The woman depicted in the picture along with her dog after destroying my #banner left the scene with her family without any remorse or regards about what they did. As a result of the incident, my banner lost tension and its retractable feature and needs to either be repaired OR replaced. The whole system costs 50 Euros. The money I don’t have.

I finally managed to place a call to the police and as they were briefed about the situation after arriving here, they took the woman's picture from me and advised me to go file a complaint at the Ambelokipi Police Station. However, the Police officer on duty who wasn't so keen in responding to the matter and mostly replying to me in Greek, had eventually told me in English, that without the woman's name they couldn't proceed with filing my complaint and sent me away.

This attitude was a painful reminder of the horrific incident that occurred here in 2017. Back then a passenger car hit me twice with attempted murder and simply ran away and when I tried to file a complaint with the police, aside from saying the same things to me, and shooting me from one Police Station to another Police Station for two days, at last they also told me since I didn't die from the incident, they wouldn't care at all about what had happened.

Irrespective of the magnitude of the crimes being committed against us, the Refugees here in this country, whether it is by the government, the Police OR the Civil Society, in fact, this is what we will face in our efforts to achieve justice.

In a society where they are all fascist and xenophobic to their cores, there is absolutely no place for us and we will find no justice, no peace, safety, security and prosperity or anything else for that matter.

They want and treat us as nothing other than slaves. Something nobody would want OR accept, only if they are awaken to the facts.

امروز، بعد از ظهر در حال سپری کردن ۱۰۱—روز از ۳—مین #اعتصاب_غذا—یم جلوی درب بعد کمیساریای عالی #سازمان_ملل متحد برای #پناهندگان در آتن، #یونان، بار دیگر با رفتارهای #نژادپرستانه و #فاشیستی مواجه شدم.

زنی که در تصویر می‌بینید همراه با سگش پس از تخریب #بنر من و با بی توجهی کامل به همراه خانواده‌اش صحنه را ترک کرد. متأسفانه در پی این حادثه، بنر من خاصیت جمع شوندگی و تنش خود را از دست داده و باید تعمیر و یا تعویض شود. کل سیستم ۵۰ یورو قیمتش هست. پولی که من ندارم.

بالاخره توانستم با پلیس تماس بگیرم. هنگام رسیدن به محل و بعد از اینکه بطور مختصر در جریان موضوع قرار گرفتند، عکس زن مورد نظر را از من گرفته و به من توصیه کردند که به کلانتری آمبلوکیپی مراجعه کرده و آنجا شکایت خود را ثبت کنم. اما افسر پلیس در آنجا تمایلی به پاسخگویی به این موضوع نداشت و بیشتر به زبان یونانی به من پاسخ می داد و در پایان به انگلیسی به من گفت که بدون نام آن زن نمی توانند کاری انجام دهند و شکایت من را ثبت نکرد.

این شیوه برخورد، یادآور دردناکی بود از حادثه هولناکی که اینجا در سال ۲۰۱۷ رخ داد. در آن زمان یک خودروی سواری با سوء قصد به جان من دو بار به من زد و خیلی راحت از محل حادثه فرار کرد. وقتی خواستم به پلیس شکایت کنم، غیر از گفتن همان حرف بالا، به مدت دو روز من رو از یک کلانتری به کلانتری دیگر به هدف کلافه کردن پس فرستادند و در نهایت هم به من هم گفتند چون من در اثر حادثه مذکور جان خودم رو از دست ندادم اصلاً برایشان اهمیتی ندارد که واقعاً چه اتفاقی افتاد.

صرف نظر از وسعت جنایاتی که علیه ما، پناهندگان، اینجا در این کشور انجام می شود، چه توسط دولت، پلیس و یا جامعه مدنی، در واقع این چیزی است که در پی تلاش‌هایی مان برای تحقق عدالت با آن روبرو خواهیم شد.

در جامعه ای که همه آنها تا بطن خود فاشیست و بیگانه هراس هستند، مطلقاً جایی برای ما وجود ندارد و ما هیچ عدالت، آرامش، امنیت، رفاه یا هیچ چیز دیگری نخواهیم یافت.

آنها ما را به عنوان برده می‌خواهند و از برده‌ای بیش بهتر با ما رفتار نمی کنند. چیزی که هیچ‌کس نمی‌خواهد یا نمی‌پذیرد، فقط اگر متوجه واقعیت‌ها شوند.
