Day 76th of my 3rd #HungerStrike Outside UNHCR Office in Athens, Greece; Another #Court Appearance — Sunday, November 28, 2021
Today I have entered day 76th of my 3rd Hunger Strike Outside UNHCR Office in Athens, Greece. Counting the number of days from my first (64-days, 2017) and second (73-days, 2020) Hunger Strikes here, thus far I have been on 213-days-long Hunger Strike in this exact location since my protest has started on March 21st, 2017.
I have been without Internet since Friday, November 19th, 2021 and therefore I have not been able to post new updates on my current situation ever since which without any doubt has deteriorated even further. The support and Donations (Whether Online OR In Person) are so little, hence I face extreme difficulties even acquiring items (i.e. #Multivitamins, #Electrolytes, Warm #Clothes, #Internet Card, etc.) that are the most essentials under this circumstance.
On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, UNHCR and several other UN bodies received yet another email from me regarding my ongoing Hunger Strike and the urgent need for decisive action to bring an end to this 7-years long Hostage taking and my complete deprivation in Greece.
This is when, the #GreekState has not yet given up on prosecuting me and seeking to put me in jail again over seeking a #Durable and #Sustainable solution for my life through #UNHCR.
As such, on the same day, Monday, November 22nd, 2021, whereas I have written about it earlier, I had another Court appearance which ultimately got postponed to Thursday, December 02nd, 2021, due to my request for appointing a lawyer to my case first. However given my previous experiences, I can hardly see they would provide me with a lawyer, because they never did in any of the 24 previous occasions.
Although the Court's Notice earlier was not clear on why I had been summoned again to the Court, but at least last Monday, I learned that I was once again accused of blocking the entrance of the UNHCR office and disrupting people’s commute there. An old accusation related to a case from 2020, which I firmly rejected, but has not formally been recorded yet due to what they said “My request for appointing a lawyer to my case first.”
This is what they have been accusing me of since 2017, without ever providing me with a #lawyer, a proper chance of defense OR an even decent interpretation during their so-called trials.
None of the NGOs are willing to provide Pro-Bono #LegalAid to my case, and I have even suffered multiple #PhysicalAssaults related to my president requests for getting legal aid from the State.
According to what I had been told, whether they appoint a lawyer to my case OR not, I still have to return to the Court on Thursday, December 02nd, 2021.
This is when, two of my major questions still remain without answers. How could they still prosecute me based on an order that was issued in 2017 and was only temporary that must be expired by now? and the second the duration for which the order from 2017 was still valid?
I don’t know Greek, therefore, cannot read OR understand their documents, which apparently they use that all against me. Perhaps this could be the perfect reason why they haven’t ever provided me with a lawyer, so they could steer their whole orchestrated plans in whatever direction they like.
To enter the Court and since I didn’t have a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate on me I had to undergo a rapid COVID-19 test in a nearby Pharmacy that cost me 10 Euros.
Later in the Court said, the rapid COVID-19 was only valid for one time only, hence for the next time, which happens in 4-days from now, I either have to provide them with a vacation certificate OR do the rapid test again and pay yet another 10 Euros. This is why after I was done from the Court last Monday, at 14:00 O’clock, I had to spend the rest of the day trying to get a copy of my Vaccination Certificate, which took me till 18:00 O’clock.
By the time I got back to my shelter for the second time after the court, I almost felt I was dying, so tired, so exhausted. The amount of energy I needed for the day, was at least 20 folds of my regular days here outside the UNHCR office while my 3rd-Hunger Strike still continues.
Now you wonder again where is all those people, organizations who claim to be #Humanitarian, standing-with and helping #Refugees, because for sure I do not see anyone of them here, and I am pretty much sure you all are well aware of this by now as much as I do.
If everyone is just a #hypocrite, inbreeding another hypocrite, and all are just making a living off of our pain and suffering, you could never hope that #justice will ever prevail. Especially when everybody seems to be so damn against you and would want nothing for you but #pain and #suffering and ultimately #death.
Could this be what they have planned for me since long time ago? Because, if you ask me, I think it very much is.
Also, the past 10-days that I was without internet, was yet another undeniable indication of their long and out of place animosity towards this ongoing atrocity and also a sign of their ongoing cover-up campaigns against it.
Nothing like this should happen to anyone, anywhere, and no one should be put through a situation like this.
This is a dire emergency. Please do not be indifferent and ignorant to what is happening here and take action now. Thank you.
