Justice Against Stephanie Melgoza

The Issue

Unfortunately, on April 10th, two souls were lost due to Stephanie Melgoza's actions: Andrea Rosewicz and Paul Prowant. Testing at .264, Stephanie decided to operate her motor vehicle. At the crime scene, officers found marijuana and an open bottle of Tito's inside the car. While questioned, she informs the officer that if tested for alcohol, she would pass.

Later, an officer asks her, “Do you understand what I just told you that you killed two people tonight?” “Yes,” she responds, “I’m just wondering when I can go back to school.”

Stephanie Melgoza's irreverent and amoral response to the incident demonstrates her lack of maturity, compassion, and appreciation of the law. Although we have no power to convict a murderer, we can prevent her from graduating on a stage filled with deserving humans.

This petition calls Bradley University to uphold and respect its values and further understand the precedent set by its inaction. We should punish disgraceful actions, not celebrate them.

Please share with everyone you know. Hopefully, we can pierce the administration veil—justice for Andrea Rosewicz and Paul Prowant.
