My brother celebrated his 14 birthday being wrongfully convicted. He came inside the system 4 months after his 18 birthday and has not been out since. As the family and I were reliving his birthday on November 5. I begun to ponder about so many families that are truly missing their love ones behind being wrongfully convicted. I know the feeling of wanting to help your love one and feel like what really can you do. The pain of not knowing how long will we have to experience this injustice, the phone calls or letters that make you depress after hearing from them because you feel powerless to help. Even though, we may feel like sometimes it's an endless battle. WE CANNOT GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP! My brother relationship with Christ has been his foundation that has kept him sane and fighting for his freedom. He knows that God sees the injustice and his faith is in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The Bible verse Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. I just want to encourage everyone of why Joshua has hope beyond his incarceration and tesify that his hope is in Jesus Christ. Second, I wanted to encourage everyones family, friends, and associates, and activitsts for humanity. We must hold on and continue to fight for the voiceless men,women and children who are counting on us. WE MUST SPEAK & STAND UP FOR THEM!
