On March 29th, 2022 I picked up my children from daycare, and walked into something that no mothers wants to see happen to one of her babies . My one year old son was badly beaten from head to toe with no explanation on what happened, as well as no reason why. The baby sitter keeps changing her story over and over as time passes. I called the police and made a report, as well as taking my baby to the hospital. Someone had bit  my baby multiple times on the arm, as well as scratches and bruises from the top of his head , all the way down to his chest and stomach . His left cheek had a big gash in it, and it was swollen for days . He now has a scar from this incident . The police investigator told me he sent the case to be reviewed by the prosecutors office , and still I have yet to hear anything . This horrible monster who was responsible for my children only for 8 hours is through Sandusky county child care , and shockingly and disturbingly still has her license . This county has just pushed my sons case to the side , and is pretty much saying it’s ok that my one year old BABY got beaten . After the incident happened , the baby sitters family and friends have all threatened and harassed me for weeks . I’ve had to put protection orders on these people , because for one my safety and my three kids safety is always the priority, and two , this baby sitters family have also threatened to come harm me in my home .  I no longer feel safe taking any of my children to any type of store, or public function without being scared for my kids safety , as well as mine . I can no longer trust this county, as they had the audacity to say that what happened to my baby was a risk I had to take. Sad. No mother, or father should have to deal or risk dealing with what happened to my son, when these “certified child care providers” are supposed to be kind, and loving , and gentle with anyones child.. My son was a very happy go lucky baby every single day until this happened to him. He has night terrors. He also don’t sleep through the night anymore . This county still has this lady on my child care case, and they got multiple reports from myself, as well as others on what happened to my son . I fear for any child that is in that home as we speak , and I hurt for those children . There were other small children there that night, as well as her and her boyfriend, and son. We have no answers still on who actually did this to my baby , because she keeps denying, and then she blamed me , as well as my 6 year old daughter . Sandusky county is a sitting joke right now as they still have this lady around more children. This could potentially be deadly for any other kid or baby who walks in there. My son was traumatized by this , and has night terrors almost every night . I lost my job due to not trusting this county’s childcare, and not having any type of family or friends to help me . I had to watch my son go through ct scans and x rays to make sure he didn’t have a broken arm , and to make sure there was no serious head injury . This “baby sitter” does not deserve to be around any type of children . Especially her own child . Til this day I don’t have an explanation of what or why she let this happen to my son, and til this day she denies the huge bite marks on his arm, saying those weren’t bite marks . I want Justice for my son . He deserves it . I’ve had to delete all of my social media accounts because her family wouldn’t stop threatening me and making up lies about me until I deleted all my accounts and stopped dealing with it . They tried calling these pictures of my son fake, and kept using my past against me because they don’t want the truth to come out . The family has also been stalking me on these accounts when I had them. These are sick twisted individuals and I won’t stop until my son gets the Justice he deserves . I won’t stop until I get it . Please help me get enough signatures to get this babysitter off the county List of Sandusky county child care providers . Once again I’m still waiting for what the prosecutors are doing with charges , but this petition will help me , help others , and will also show awareness to people about this incident . Thank you .
