Justgiving state on their webpage they charge 1.9% of the funds raised by the wonderful Captain Tom. They say for credit card fees but alternative donation platform Totalgiving charge 0%. If Totalgiving can do it, so can JustGiving. 

I have asked JustGiving about their fees.  I have had a reply - they say 97% GOES STRAIGHT TO THE CHARITY!  That's correct - 97%  - Why NINETY-SEVEN PERCENT?  I replied to ask what about the 3% deducted?  On £27,500,000 that is a whopping £825,000.

They said they have kindly donated £100,000 to Captain Tom's appeal. 

I have had no explanation about the remaining £725,000 - they replied to say they were sorry I was not happy with their response. Petition to ask Justgiving and credit card companies to waive their fees.  PLEASE HELP - SIGN AND SHARE.  

The NHS Charities deserve ALL the funds so generously donated.
