Michael Bradley's presence on the US Men's National Team is not only astonishing, but also a hindrance to the progression of US Soccer and detriment to the international prestige of the United States. Furthermore, he happens to be the only player in the soccer world (international and domestic) that manages to simultaneously be the captain of the team as well as the most inept. He causes instability in the midfield, turns the ball over more than any other player, he inspires no one on the field, and lastly has the audacity to be arrogant and defiant about his culpability in the collective performance.

He had a poor World Cup 2014, Gold Cup 2015, and even worse Copa America 2016. If US Soccer wants to grow, it needs to be without Bradley. It was a testament to the character of the team having made it to the Copa America Centenario Semi Finals despite his always terrifyingly lackluster displays as both a player and captain. 

He's so bad it's a legitimate national security concern because of the potential prestige a successful USMNT would bring to the United States and it's impossibility with him in the squad.
