The pain of losing a loved one to suicide still lingers, a constant ache that many individuals carry with them.

The Saint John's and the I-205 bridges hold a painful significance, having taken too many lives already,  I'm pouring my advocacy and voice into this petition, hoping to spare others the same heartache, the same suffocating pain that threatens to consume more families affected by suicide

Installing call boxes and safety nets can be a lifeline for those in crisis, a reminder that they are seen, they are heard, and they are loved.

I'm sharing this petition because I want people to know they're not alone, that there is hope, and that their lives matter - every single one of them.  I can't help but know things would have turned out differently if these bridges had been equipped with safety measures. Just last week, the week of 11/24/2025  a person jumped from the Saint John's Bridge, and it was too late. The pain of that loss is still resonating, and it's a harsh reminder that we need to act now.
