Ban the sale of fireworks to the public

The Issue

Every year fireworks are being let off randomly almost every night from the run up to bonfire night until after New Years Eve.  This causes distress to many animals, including wildlife, and especially dogs who are afraid to go for a walk after dark and are terrified in their own homes.  There is an urgent need to keep firework displays to specific nights and only through organised, licensed displays so our dogs can walk the streets without fear and owners can make suitable preparations for those evenings when fireworks will be used.

There is absolutely no need for back garden firework displays, not only do they impact on the quality of our beloved pets lives, they also cause injuries to humans with a reported 4,436 in 2018 (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/bonfire-night-2018-fireworks-display-events-injuries-graphic-pictures-warning-doctors-a8618646.html
