On February 23, 2016, 17 year old De'Monte (aka Demonte) Douglas and an unnamed 14 year old were arrested for shooting a 6-week old puppy 18 times with a BB gun. The lab mix, Brody, was riddled with bullets when the Rock Hill, SC Police Department brought him to a vet. When the accused abusers go to trial, they will face anywhere from 180 days to 5 years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
