Britney Spears, a 39 year old presumed disabled woman, is being held against her will in a conservatorship, otherwise known as a Legal Guardianship. Under this she is prohibited from doing any of the underlying on her own without her father being legally allowed to lock her away in jail or, worse, a mental health facility:

-Leave her home
-Drive
-Get Married
-Get Pregnant (even accidentally)
-Do interviews (the few she does MUST be pre-scripted)
-Speak publicly about conservatorship
-Use social media without monitoring
-Use her phone without monitoring
-Go for a walk
-Buy ANYTHING (even a drink)
-Look at HER OWN bank statements and see how her $250 million fortune is being thrown away
-See her own kids (they have a restraining order against her father for abuse)
-Speak to anyone without a monitor

She pays $1.1 million a year for her conservatorship, including $200k to her father and an undisclosed amount to a lawyer not of her choosing.

She has 30% custody of her kids but can rarely see them as Jamie is always present and he can’t be near the boys. 

6 months following her breakdown in 2008, she was working. She recorded Circus and completed a worldwide tour for it grossing $131.8 million. This was supposed to end the conservatorship. It didn’t. They lied to her. 

In the 13 years since this started, she has recorded 4 albums, completed 3 worldwide tours, released countless products, was a judge on X-Factor (which she only left because she’s too nice to criticize people), completed a 4-year residency in Las Vegas and brought in $138 million per year - not that she sees any of it. Her allowance is just shy of $1k a week.

In case you haven’t gathered this is all about money and using Britney Spears as a cash cow. 

Her team had #FreeBritney banned on Twitter and threatens major lawsuits against ANY AND EVERY celebrity who says anything about it. Hence why we don’t see many celebs talk about it even though they know. 

In 2019, after she was legally thrown into a mental hospital for driving to get burgers, an attorney named Andrew Wallet resigned saying “not ending the conservatorship will cause her irreparable harm.”

Now, in 2021, following the release of the documentary “Framing Britney Spears,” the case has reached a much larger audience. Britney needs to be able to hire her own legal counsel to effectively remove her from this horrific conservatorship. 

She is a 39 year old woman who is being denied her freedom because of a presumed disability. If this can happen to a woman who was the number one searched celebrity on Google for 7 years (record since the inception of the internet) what about the rest of us?
