Somos habitantes del asentamiento Las Casitas, ubicado en el camellón entre la Av. Bordo de Xochiaca y Carmelo Pérez. En el municipio de Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México.

Nosotros al igual que 1500 familias fuimos desalojados la madrugada del 2 de agosto de 2014, sin ninguna notificación o aviso y siendo tratados violentamente por más de 5000 elementos de seguridad pública, estatales y federales.

Tuvimos 5 minutos para sacar nuestras cosas.

Al paso de las maquinas vimos como perdíamos el patrimonio que durante años nuestros padres pagaron al supuesto dueño con mensualidades de $1,500 pesos y enganches arriba de $10,000.

Todo fue un fraude.

Nuestra comunidad estaba ubicada al lado del canal del rio de la compañía o mejor conocido como el canal del bordo. Nuestras casas serían los terrenos en dónde se depositarían los desechos del Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México.

El fraccionador, Manuel Solís Berber, nos vendió terrenos que no le pertenecían, todo esto ante los ojos de autoridades municipales, figuras políticas, supuestas asociaciones civiles y empresas que en ese momento eran paraestatales.

Hace unos meses un asentamiento como el nuestro  en la Av. Vicente Villada, sufrió un segundo desalojo.

No recibieron justicia.

Hoy en este lugar, un camellón con pasto y algunas plantas, intenta tapar nuevamente su historia. 

La pregunta es ¿por qué?

Hemos acudido a diversas instancias en busca de apoyo y asesoría respecto a nuestro caso.

Nuestra petición siempre ha sido la oportunidad de adquirir un terreno de manera legal y con formas de pago acorde a nuestras posibilidades e ingresos.

 No queremos nada regalado, pero si la oportunidad de tener un hogar seguro y digno.

 En nuestro antiguo territorio no teníamos permitido opinar, exigir o demandar nuestros derechos. Es por esto que lideres externos han utilizado nuestra causa para fines propios en varias ocasiones, lo hemos permitido porque teníamos miedo. Ya no.

En este contexto y con nuestras necesidades primordiales no atendidas, sin servicios básicos, un trabajo estable o prestaciones, tuvimos que aceptar un apoyo económico del municipio por la cantidad de $5,000 pesos por familia, esto con la condición de desocupar el camellón antes del 12 de noviembre del 2018.

En nuestro asentamiento sólo el 66% de los menores de edad estudian. Si nos vamos, en la escuela perderíamos el ciclo escolar o tendríamos que trasladarnos desde municipios aledaños en recorridos de hasta 3 horas. Sin contar que nos iríamos sin haber encontrado justicia y sin la oportunidad de tener un lugar fijo al que llamarle hogar.

Nuestra petición a ti, es que te unas a nuestra causa y que tu firma nos respalde para exigir:

1.  La posibilidad de adquirir un terreno de manera legal.
2. El amparo ante autoridades municipales para permanecer aquí, hasta que concluya el ciclo escolar o hasta que se inicie nuestro proceso de adquisición un terreno.
3. Voluntarios que quieran colaborar con Asesoría legal.

Que nuestra situación sea analizada por las autoridades competentes y por el nuevo gabinete que ocupará desde el 1ero de diciembre la Secretaria de Desarrollo Social, la Secretaria de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano, La comisión de desarrollo y bienestar social de la cámara de senadores, la comisión de desarrollo social de la cámara de diputados y la comisión nacional de derechos humanos.

Si firmas, nuestra comunidad no se convertirá en un fantasma de la corrupción e impunidad que vienen ostentando fraccionadores desde hace más de medio siglo en nuestro municipio.

Nuestro niños podrán seguir yendo al escuela. 

Y nuestra voz por fin será escuchada.

Our community was located next to the canal del rio de la compañia or better known as the canal del bordo. Our houses would be the land where all the waste from the New International Airport of Mexico City would be deposited.

A fractionator sold us the land that did not belong to him, everything under the knowledge of municipal authorities, political figures, pretended civil associations and companies that at that time belonged to the state.

What happened to us, has been happening in the municipality for more than 50 years. A few months ago a settlement like ours on Av. Vicente Villada suffered a second eviction.

They did not receive justice.

Today in this place, a traffic island with grass and some plants tries to cover their story. The question is why?

We have gone to several instances in search of support and advice regarding our case. Our request has always been the opportunity to acquire land, legally and with payment opportunities according to our possibilities and income.

We DO NOT want anything given away, but we DO want the opportunity to have a safe and dignified home.

In our previous territory, we were not allowed to express our opinions or demand our rights. This is why external leaders have used our cause for their own purposes on several occasions, we have allowed it because we were afraid.

But not anymore!

In our context and with our primary needs unattended, without basic services, a stable job or benefits, we had to accept an economic support from the municipality for the amount of $ 5,000 pesos per family, with the condition of evicting the traffic island where we actually live in the course of 15 days, before November 12 of 2018.

In our settlement, only 66% of children and teenagers study. If we get evicted for the second time we would lose the school year or we would have to move to distant municipalities and make trips of up to 3 hours to go to school. Not to mention that we would leave without having found justice and without the opportunity to have a place to call home.

Our request to you is that you join our cause and that your signature supports us to demand:

1. The possibility of acquiring land in a legal manner.
2. The legal protection of municipal authorities to remain here, until the end of the school year or until our land acquisition process begins.
3. Volunteers who want to collaborate with legal advice.
4. That our situation can be analyzed by the competent authorities and by the new cabinet that will occupy from December 1 the Secretary of Social Development, the Secretary of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development, The Commission of Development and Social Welfare of the Senate Chamber , The Commission of Social Development of the Chamber of Deputies and The National Commission of Human Rights.

With your sign, our community will not become a ghost of corruption and impunity. And our children could continue their education.
