12月23日更新 Updated Dec. 23rd 【たくさんのご協力ありがとうございます！】 たくさんの方に賛同して頂きありがとうございます！署名に加えて「レール・パス」を利用された体験や、いつか利用する楽しみをされていたことなど、たくさんのご意見を共有して頂きましてありがとうございます。JRさまにも皆様の想いが届くよう、引き続き拡散と署名にご協力ください！ 【進捗状況】 11月12日：署名ページ開始（JRの発表は11月11日でした）。初日から50名の方がサポートしてくださいました！ ↓ 11月14日：1000名の方から署名を頂きました！ JR各社（東海、西、東、四国、九州、北海道）と代理販売者からも協力を得れないか、皆様の署名を添えて送らせて頂きました。 ↓ 11月15日：1500名の方から署名を頂きました！（＾＾） そしてとある会社から「『国土交通省』に問い合わせるのが良い」とアドバイスを頂きましたので、国土交通省に署名のリンクを添えて送らせて頂きました。（アドバイスありがとうございます！） ↓ 11月18日：2000名の方から署名を頂きました！ありがとうございます！ ↓ 11月21日：JR東日本様よりご回答を頂きました。 内容は以下の「JR東日本様より回答」をクリック下さい。 ↓ 11月23日：JR東に続いて、JR北海道、JR四国、JR九州、JR西よりご回答を頂きました。すべて全く同じメール内容でした（以下のリンクをクリックしご確認ください）。引き続き国土交通省の返信を待ちます。 ↓ 11月26日：2500名の方から署名を頂きました！ありがとうございます！ ↓ 12月23日：JR各社からは返信がありました（内容を公開・共有していますのでご確認ください）が、引き続き国土交通省からお返事をいただけておりません。 【直接ご意見を送りたい方】 ☆☆ 国土交通省 ☆☆　←JR各社同じ回答で取り合ってもらえないため、新たに追加させて頂きました。 https://www1.mlit.go.jp:8088/hotline/cgi-bin/hotline08011.cgi 【JR各社のお問い合わせ先】 JR WEST 西日本 https://entry.jr-odekake.net/webapp/form/18112_quab_2/index.do JR EAST 東日本 http://www.jreast.co.jp/info/opinion.html JR SHIKOKU 四国　https://www2.jr-shikoku.co.jp/accept/mail/question.html?id=8 JR KYUSHU 九州 https://www.jrkyushu.co.jp/contact/ JR HOKKAIDO 北海道 https://www.jrhokkaido.co.jp/mailform/request/index.html JR CENTRAL 東海 http://jr-central.co.jp/info/customer-service.html 【同じ目的で署名活動を行っている方が他にもいます！！】 目的は同じなので宜しければご協力ください！ 【管理人との連絡方法】 申し訳ございませんが、私は表に出るつもりはありませんので出来る限りご連絡はお控えください。賛同者様の署名とご意見を集め、責任もってJR様（関係者）に提出し、再考して頂けることだけが目的です。どうしてもという方はコメントをすべて読んでいますので、そちらでご用件とメールアドレスをお知らせください。内容次第でもなりますが、こちらからメールにてお返事させて頂く形にしたいと思います。 [Thank you all for supporting this petition!] Thank you to the English speakers for also participating in support of your friends and family who will be effected by this change; those who are Japanese citizens living overseas. The purpose of this petition is to have JR reconsider their decision to discontinue the eligibility of all Japanese citizens (even if they've been living overseas for 10, 20, 30 years or all their life!) from purchasing the Japan Rail Pass. [The milestone of our progress!] Nov. 12th: This petition starts and we immediately get 50 supporters! (JR made their announcement on November 11th). Nov. 14th: We reach 1000 supporters! I sent the link of this petition to all of the JR companies (JR West, JR East, JR Central, JR Hokkaido, JR Kyushu, JR Shikoku) and asking for them to read your voices and direct it to the appropriate person handling the decision. Nov. 15th: We reach 1500 supporters! A re-seller of the Japan Rail Pass offers advice that we reach out to the "Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport" (Duh!) and even told me that they'll cooperate the best they can in forwarding our petition! (Thank you!) But I want to really make sure for myself, so I've send the link of our petition via their online contact form. Still no response from any of the JR companies; not sure if I can expect any, but I'll inform you here if I do. Nov. 18th: We reach 2000 supporters! Thank you! Nov. 21st: We receive our first reply from JR East. Please click the link below "Reply from JR East" to read it in both Japanese and English. Nov.23rd: Followed by the reply from JR East, we receive replies from JR Hokkaido, JR Shikoku, JR Kyushu and JR West. Sadly, all replies used the same template to anyone who contacted in regards to the Japan Rail Pass and is not open to discussing further. We're still waiting (hoping) to hear back from the "Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation." Nov. 26th: We reach 2500 supporters! Thank you! Dec. 23rd: No new updates or replies. We received the same replies from all of the JR companies (I've translated and shared the *disappointing* e-mail so please be sure to take a look) but have not received any reply from the Ministry of Transportation. [Why is this petition only in Japanese?] My focus in the beginning was to ask for support from the Japanese citizens living abroad who will be directly affected by this change. And now that I realize there are family members and friends who want to help out, I unfortunately find out that Change.org does not allow me to edit the description of this petition to add English! But from hereon I'll keep everyone updated in both English and Japanese, so I hope that you can help spread the word for us to obtain as many supporters as possible! Are there other petitions?] There's another major petition that I assume started at the same time as this one, but we're aiming to achieve the same purpose (!) so please be sure to check that out as well!
