Congress: Please Pass Bill H.R. 3304

The Issue

Representative Joyce Beatty of Ohio introduced Bill H.R. 3304 into Congress on 07/19/07.  This Bill is entitled the Human Trafficking Accountability Act and currently is with Congress.  Currently it states that at "least one Human Trafficking Coordinator in each federal judicial district to implement the National Strategy for Combating Human Trafficking and to promote cases, conduct outreach, and enforce laws related to human human trafficking."  This Act also states "a National Trafficking Coordinator within the Department of Justice to coordinate, promote, and support the Department of Justice' work related to human trafficking."

Something like this would be very helpful in Alabama as I'm sure other states!
