Under  Section 252 of the Children’s Act 2001, the name of a deceased minor/child cannot be  identified if a person of age is charged with the murder of that child. This act needs to be amended. For Josh Dunne and many other children whose lives were tragically taken away from them. Justice is yet to be served for Josh Dunne. A man has been arrested and is the main suspect for the murder, however should he be charged with the murder, the media will no longer be permitted to publish Josh’s name or any form of identification like his name or photo. It’s not fair on Josh’s family. This also needs to be amended for the other children who were murdered. Please sign this petition and let those children’s names be heard.
