Laundryheap are the only on-demand laundry company to offer same-day collection and delivery within 24 hours. Because germs are invisible, it's impossible to tell if they're actually clean after a wash. Dr Lisa Ackerley, a visiting professor of Environmental Health at the University of Salford says that the kitchen is the worst place for a washing machine: "if you put dirty or soiled laundry on the worktop before you load the machine, you could transfer bacteria or viruses to food."
