Hi Cash Lovers, 

Thank you to 5,000 Aussies!

In just a few short weeks, five thousand concerned Aussies have found our petition and signed it! 1,000 shares as well mean we are increasing exponentially now.

Europe, USA, New Zealand, Japan and other advanced economies have recently moved, or have new laws pending, to protect their citizen's right to cash, so don't let people tell you cash is dying.

Cash is still king and will be forever. A public outcry caused Sweden to reverse and legislate to ensure people can access and use cash. 

To be heard by our government, we need numbers.That means signatures on our petition.

If the Morrison government wants to ban cash transactions over $10,000, then we want the right to use cash for transactions under this amount. Shops and retailers need to welcome cash if our economy is stay strong, inclusive and resilient to outages.

As Australia emerges from COVID-19 lock down and charts a COVID-normal future, government must recognise that no COVID outbreak has yet been linked to cash.**

Surfaces are not the problem when it comes to containing COVID. Close social distance and bad hand hygiene, not surfaces, are the main ways COVID is transmitted.

Almost every week an eftpos system crashes, leaving people without food.

This week a betting app crashed during Spring Carnival, raising big questions. Should gambling really be so cashless?

Cash is the favourite budgeting tool of gamblers, according to Dr Sally Gainsbury from the University of Sydney.

That's because when a gambler runs out of cash, they have to reconsider and go and make a withdrawal if they want to keep spending. But just three easy clicks can top up your phone betting account.

We will win this battle because Aussies love cash. More importantly, Australia needs cash to ensure everyone is included and we can still get what we need when computer systems fail.
