Nina Jankowicz, our new Head of Disinformation, has quite a history, in addition to being histrionic.
Her previous, quasi-governmental experience involves working for a thinktank funded by, guess who, Mark Zuckerberg. And, of course, the organization was responsible for auditing internet content.
Ironically, Ms. Jankowicz is known primarily for spreading her own questionable views far and wide.
To our knowledge she is still a proponent of the Russia Collusion Hoax, involving the claim that the 2016 Presidential Election was rigged by foreign actors, and the debunked Steele Dossier, a fabricated report commissioned by Trump rival Hillary Clinton, which alludes to how the persons named within it were connected to the said scheme.
There was much archived evidence in public news and opinion which detailed why voters (including commited Democrats) chose to forgo casting the ballot for Ms. Clinton. It ranges from scandals such as Whitewater, the suspicious death of friend and aide Vince Foster, Travelgate and Benghazi, to anti-Catholic and anti-Christian statements and the classification of groups of people as "Superpredators", "Basement Dwellers" and "Deplorables", to the infamous and inexcusable breach of national security through knowingly transmitting highly classfied information through an unsecured, home-based e-mail server.
Also at issue were Ms. Clinton's stance on partial-birth abortion, and the notion, as set forth by Michelle Obama, that a woman could not be within womanhood if she didn't vote Clinton / Democratic. (Incidently, said parallels the "you're not Black" assertion made by Joe Biden.)
Despite the wealth of controversies had then, there would be little to no accounting of it on Google or Wikipedia today. That is by design.
Google, YouTube and Twitter were made to submit testimony in formal hearings with the Senate on how much their editorial influence and outright censorship has cost the American public. They would only sometimes acknowledge how algorithms they installed worked to stiffle the flow of information. And the Hunter Biden discussion was banned altogether by the Little Big Blue Bird.
For too long disclaimer tags were arbitrary affixed to any and every post on the said platforms that dared to mention COVID, Climate Change or Presidential Candidates. Afterward certain statements were struck from the record entirely.
It is also remembered by some that Google, in conjunction with the Associated Press, declared their projected result of the 2020 Polls BEFORE the official counts came back from all of the swing states. That was unprecedented and unethical.
Ms. Jankowicz would prefer that we only receive certain narratives - not exclusively about elections - but about sex and sexuality as well. She has vowed to suppress "Gender Disinformation".
