For decades, toxic coal ash has been leaking into Lake Michigan from multiple generating stations including Waukegan Generating Station in Illinois, affecting shores at northern illinois, Indianas southern lake shore, and more. 

Coal ash comes from burning coal and contains arsenic, mercury, lead, and chromium. All of these are harmful to humans and can cause many health issues including cancer, kidney diseases, death, and more. This affects everyone drinking water from Lake Michigan. Help us get President Biden to sign bill SB3073 by Johnson and Mayfield so we can eliminate all toxic coal ash being produced by Waukegan Generating Station.
