The Biden administration led the American public to believe that they supported the legalization of marijuana. 

While, yes, there are other pressing matters at hand, let us not forget this is one of them.

Every day, many Americans take opiate narcotics, as prescribed, and not necessarily because all other options were exhausted. Safer options are illegal. 

Related factors:

1. Lack of access to cannabis, and no adult cannabis education, definitely factor into an unsubstantiated fear and stigma.
2. Inability to, say, pay bail for a cannabis-related charge has led to unemployment, which induces desperation, which has started a cycle of loss.
3. Fear of being put into a cage for having possession of an alternative, nontoxic, safe herbal solution.

This plant needs to be legalized federally immediately. Here's why:

• Over a dozen states have already taken matters into their own hands (successfully);
• Many more states, (despite public outcry), continue to choose to punish, persecute, and prosecute innocent adults over holding...
• wait for it....a naturally occurring plant.
• Even "smelling" like cannabis, in states that deny legalization, is still considered "probable cause", and we all know how that can end.
• Simply failing a drug test for cannabinoids can ruin a person's life.

This HAS to stop. The "war" on drugs has been disproportionately harmful to minorities.

No more. 

Cannabis is still classified AS A SCHEDULE ONE NARCOTIC according to the federal government. Maybe there's a problem with the classification system?

America demands swift action.

Across the board cannabis legalization for adults only.
