We stand with Ahmed Mohamed who was wrongly arrested and suspended from school for daring to show intellectual curiosity and bring an invention to school. It's not enough to just stand with Ahmed though, we need accountability with the Irving Indrpendent School District and MacArthur High School for punishing this young man for creating something. Not only was it racist, but shoes a clear anti-intellectualism and any school district that does this is clearly anti-education. Irving Independent School District needs to reverse course on punishing Ahmed and needs to punish the principal of MacArthur High School Dan Cummings, immediately.
