Every morning while driving to work or driving back from work, I come across a dead cat. I love cats. I always have. I love animals in general, and seeing them brutally squashed and flattened against the road by speeding cars not only breaks my heart but angers me to no end. Most of them are kittens with no place to go in this harsh world and do not deserve to die. I have seen with my own eyes drivers deliberately choosing to run them over for no apparent reason. I guess it gives them a feeling of power to hurt and kill the weak. This happens with other animals, too, like dogs and foxes, but I've mostly seen it with cats. I want to be the voice for those weak, innocent creatures who cannot speak for themselves and I want those supporting me to be their voices as well. Let us end this savagery and provide shelter for them whenever and wherever possible.
