We need to obtain legislation to stop selective breeding where cats and dogs are deformed from birth.  I would highlight the Scottish Fold cat whose ears are pinned down to their head through breeding a damaged cartilage.  This affects all cartilages in the body which causes pain and suffering in the long term leading to chronic arthritis. The French Bulldog has great difficulty in breathing and often has to have an operation to clear nasal congestion.  This is totally unacceptable -  this disgusting and cruel breeding purely for fashion and profit must cease.  Please help me put this in front of Parliament and be a spokeman for our dumb friends who give us nothing but love and affection.  Thank you.
