Petition against the sunset of the Electrolysis Practice Act As a citizen of North Carolina, I am horrified by the possibility of the sunset of the NC Board of Electrolysis Examiners.  Electrolysis and laser hair removal have to remain procedures performed by a LICENSED electrologist.  These procedures require high standards of infection control and continuing education for those that perform them.  These procedures destroy human tissue.  Instead of dissolving the NC Board of Electrolysis Examiners, put the licensees and legislation under another Board.  Keep the North Carolina consumers SAFE.
