Season 2 of Shadowhunters on Freeform is now being written, and my favourite character from the books, Maia Roberts, will most likely be cast. I mean, who doesn't love a badass female Werewolf? Now, I have always imagined myself as Maia because I believe I hold a strong resemblance to her: light brown skin, a heart-shaped face, and extremely curly hair. I also feel I can relate to her; she's determined, and passionate about those whom she loves, and let's not forget her sarcasm! Maia is such an underrated yet essential character, who would be a great asset to the show. Who better to play such a character than someone like me who is enthusiastic and passionate about both the show and the book series? I would be fiercely devoted to making sure Maia is represented in the way that she deserves to be as I always put 100% into everything I do. 

I was thinking, since Blake Cooper managed to get an audition for The Maze Runner via social media, maybe I could too? The only thing stopping me is a fear of failure, but here I am, taking a chance.

All I ask is to be given the chance to audition and hopefully, this petition will help me to achieve that. In an ideal world, Cassandra Clare, Jonathan Clay Harris, Ed Decter or McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol) would notice my petition and so if you have the time, perhaps spreading the hashtag #OliviaforMaia will help?
