First off I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in getting Eric Gales the recognition he soooo deserves! The results of our first full day of this petition have been extremely strong but we have to stay vigilant if we are to prevail and see E.G.'s name enshrined on Beale Street Brass Note Walk Of Fame where he belongs. We ended the first day petition with 430 signatures and 66 post shares! This is a great start and we must build off this momentum. Please continue to spread the word to any who will listen. Continue to repost the petition to the top of your page so that it stays fresh and doesn't get buried and no longer seen. (Once a week minimum please) This is very important to our success! It is my intent to start pushing for answers as to what will be required to achieve our goal once we are 1,500 signatures strong. I want them to know we are a force to be reckoned with and will not take no for an answer! It may require some of us calling demanding Eric be recognized. I will keep you updated if needed.
