Audiensi Produktif Dengan Kantor Staf Presiden

Seperti biasa, terima kasih banyak atas dukungan Anda untuk upaya mengakhiri tes keperawanan TNI. Saya memiliki berita baik! Berkat semua tanda tangan Anda, surel yang saya kirim ke Kantor Staf Presiden (KSP) di bulan Januari mendapat perhatian mereka (walaupun saya salah mengeja kata "prihatin" dan "keprihatinan"). Pada hari Kamis, 4 Maret 2021 saya mendapat kesempatan audiensi virtual bersama Tim Perempuan, Anak, dan Kesehatan dari Kedeputian II KSP. Di pertemuan tersebut, saya mempersembahkan riset dan perjanjian internasional yang menyalahkan tes keperawanan. Mereka pun tertarik dengan cerita di balik penulisan petisi ini. Diskusi soal tahap lanjutan sangat produktif. Saya optimis dukungan Anda semua tidak sia-sia.

Productive Audience With Presidential Staff Office

As usual, thank you very much for supporting the effort of abolishing female military virginity testing in Indonesia. I have good news! Thanks to your signatures, an email I sent to the Presidential Staff Office in January got their attention (even after I misspelled the verb and noun for "concern"). On Thursday, March 4th 2021 I was granted a remote audience with the Women, Children, and Health Team within Deputy II of the Presidential Staff Office. I presented research and treaties that condemn the practice of virginity testing. They were even interested in hearing the story behind the writing of this petition. Discussions on next steps were productive. I am optimistic your support was not in vain.
