“Express Your Mother Tree Love” Community Art Event!

Concerned Neighbors of Multnomah Village and Tree Emergency Response Team of Elizabeth Jones Art Center are partnering for an inspiring participatory art event to protect some of our neighborhood’s oldest and most loved Douglas Fir trees.

Renaissance Homes purchased the large property and intends to cut down its largest tree, the “Mother Tree”, & the interconnected forest of towering trees to make room for two 3,000 sq. feet homes.

Please join us on Saturday, to help shine a light on the importance of preserving Portland’s rapidly declining urban forests.
