Today is a great day for those who believe in the rights and protection of young people in the European Union. Our petition, "Raising the Age of Consent: Protecting Young People in the European Union," has reached a significant milestone by collecting 100 signatures.

As many of us know, the age of consent varies across different countries within the EU, with some as low as 14 years old. This means that in some countries, young people are legally considered capable of giving their consent to sexual activity at a very young age.

By raising the age of consent to at least 16 years old, we can better protect young people from being taken advantage of and experiencing negative consequences such as unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. It is important that the EU recognizes the need for uniform laws that protect young people across all member states.

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has signed and supported our petition. Your signature is a step towards creating a safer and more just society for young people in the EU. We hope to continue to gain support and bring attention to this important issue. Together, we can make a difference.

It's important to remember that petitions are one of many ways to raise awareness and create change. There are many other ways that you can continue to advocate for this issue, such as reaching out to your local representatives and participating in related campaigns and events. Keep up the great work and let's work together to raise the age of consent and protect young people in the EU.
