Hi everyone,
I wanted to share the exciting news that we have revealed a new wall mural in East London (83 Redchurch St, London, E2 7DJ). Waad and I joined Afraa and Salem (including all of the kids) on Sunday to see the new piece of art work which shares again Waad's message, "We dared to dream and we will not regret dignity."
Revealed on World Refugee Day, we created this wall art as a way to spread our message further. We want to raise refugee voices, to shine a light on those who have been forced to flee their homes; to remind people that being a refugee is not a choice.
The wall art is displayed until 9 July 2021, and we would be so grateful for your support by either sharing your voice from the wall, or encouraging others to.
If you are in London (or close to):
Please visit our mural and take a photo or a video in front of the mural. Share it on social media with either your own refugee story or a message to refugees across the world to let them know that you stand with them. Here is a great example.
If you’re anywhere else in the world:
Please join the action online and share about the wall across social media. Here is a tweet we've prepared for you.
You can find out more on our website here.
Thank you, always,
Hamza, Waad, Sama & Taima
