The devastating destruction in Syria has been ongoing for so long. The bombing of people and hospitals still happens today. The torture, detention and disappearance of anyone who dares to oppose the regime continues. 

“We dared to dream and we will not regret dignity,” was the phrase embroidered on Waad’s Oscars dress. 

But this is not just a phrase - this is the story of a suppressed people and an exceptional revolution. This week, we ask you to stand with us - to share awareness of what is happening in Syria and to show the world why we must not forget.
