Petition updateWorld leaders: Please act to save our lives in AleppoA slow-motion train wreck

Dear friends, Yesterday, I recorded a message from the people of Aleppo to the world: http://bit.ly/2fv7vhA It has been almost six years since the fighting began and we are wondering what the world is doing for us. In the past week alone bombs have fallen on four hospitals, six schools, two bakeries and the White Helmets HQ. How many hospitals or schools does it take to see real action against war crimes in Syria? It cannot get more gruesome than this. It's been more than 90 days since East Aleppo was surrounded by regime and Russian forces. No aid has been allowed to reach us since. More than a quarter of a million people are stuck inside the city, facing death from starvation. Just a few miles away, UN trucks are ready and waiting to deliver desperately needed food and medical supplies. While the armed opposition groups of East Aleppo have agreed to let them enter the city, Russia and the Syrian regime have not. They are the only thing stopping food and medicine from reaching us. Will you share our message to the world, and call on Russia and Syria to allow aid to reach my home? http://bit.ly/2fvitUh This has been a slow-motion train wreck. This message is from Aleppo to the world: don't look back years from now and wish you had done something you can still do. Thank you, Dr Hamza.
