Call on the WRU to implement women's performance pathways

It is no secret the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) has systematically removed all performance pathways for girls to play elite rugby.
Over its long history, women and girls were once able to compete at an elite level, initially through East, West, North & Central and then came Scarlets, Ospreys, Blues, Dragons and RGC sides. - Sign this petition if you believe that rugby at this level needs to make a comeback like their male peers.
Women could once represent Wales in u19s, u20s, Welsh Students, Welsh Development, Wales 15s and Welsh 7s. All that remains now is a singular national 15s team. - Sign this petition if you believe that rugby at this level needs to return, and girls should be able to attain international honours like in so many other sports.
As the game evolves globally, it has seen many iterations at age-grade, yet the WRU has failed to implement any, only dismantle what they initially adopted from the Welsh Women's Rugby Union.
The WRU, unlike other Tier 1 nations, has failed to implement a suitable performance strategy, only a general rugby-wide one (Google: Our Game WRU Strategy). You will see the negligence of the women's elite game goes against its very own strategic aims. As such they've been described as a 'rudderless ship' with no leaders, no interest, and no accountability for its elite women's game. - Sign the petition if you believe this needs to change.
By signing you will lend your voice to bringing hope to women and girls that desperately want the chance to play for their region and their country - just like the opportunity afforded to their male peers.
In solidarity with current and future players, 123 former Welsh representatives wrote to the WRU in April 2021, we urged them to do better and we offered ‘a working party’, we were rebuffed and still there is no improvement.
Enough is enough. We cannot stand by and watch the women’s game deteriorate any further. We insist the WRU create and implement performance pathways so that current and future players can compete proudly in our national sport, can represent their families and communities, and aspire to be the very best players they can be.
Sign this petition if you're parents of girls, a player, a supporter, a coach, or even just a passive rugby fan who wants to see the women's game thrive.
