In spite of objections from science deniers Mike Brown & Steve Klika and an abstention from Michael Ashcraft, the Board of Commissioners voted 4-2 in favor of heeding the advice of our public health officials to require Johnson County residents to follow Governor Kelly's mandate requiring masks. 

Inexplicably, Mike Brown remains in the Vice Chair position (for now).  

He is up for re-election and I would highly encourage his constituents to support Shirley Allenbrand to replace him.  Here is her website- Shirley Allenbrand for County Commission
