Over 50% of children, youths, recent immigrants, and racialized groups are living below the poverty line in Toronto. Many of these people can't get a proper education to be able to get a stable, well paying job, and many of them are homeless, meaning there are very limited jobs they can get in the city. The city of Toronto is looking to change the poverty situation in the future, but for any change to happen soon, we need to take action now and start raising awareness and support for people living in poverty in Toronto.
