On February 17th, 1999, John was convicted and sentenced to life in prison with a chance for parole after 25 years. 
On June 21, 2023, after 24 years of being an innocent man and model inmate, he was relocated to a medium security prison allowing him to acclimate in an environment more conducive of his freedom prior to his parole hearing.

Unfortunately, on February 10, 2024, John once again was denied his freedom. He will be eligible for parole again on February 10, 2027. 

Regardless of this crushing blow, he still has our unconditional love and support, and continues to gracefully handle this miscarriage of justice. Please continue to support John with your words, prayers and comments, as even though he was denied parole, he is the same innocent, wrongfully convicted man after 25 years.
